MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewed and approved construction project contracts, change orders and pay requests of all State agencies
- Developed statewide procurement procedures, for a/e and construction services including bid proceedures, contracts and change order processes
- Recommended and approved the new construction program of the Building and Construction Office of the State of Arizona.
- Developed and mantained Capitol Complex Asbestos Management Plan
- Developed and managed the Capitol Complex BlueStake program for underground utility locating.
- Annually reviewed existing State physical plant and recommended required improvements.
- Directed the engineering and the field staff to secure compliance with the approved construction program and documents on a timely basis for all state funded construction projects including compliance with State Handicapped and Energy Conservation Codes.
- Managed and directed, thru staff, new construction and major maintenance thruought the Capitol Complex
- Managed with full responsibility subordinate staff of technical and non-technical personnel.
- Developed acquired and implemented hardware and software needs.
